The new 1000 SF public entrance addition was accompanied with nearly 27,000 SF of renovations to the former juvenile detention center. While inactive for several years, the original nearly century-old structure served as a school before being converted to a juvenile detention center. Renovations added necessary offices, evidence storage, and vehicle bays while the new addition adds a distinct, modern metallic entry to the public.

The new facility is larger than their former headquarters, allowing more space for training rooms, a fitness center, evidence lab, offices, vehicle bays, and room to grow! A new glass and metal public entrance lobby will be added to complement the historic brick façade of the existing facility to provide a secure, but more accessible entrance.
