KJG strategized with Lafayette School Corporation for two years on how to best accommodate growing class sizes at their elementary schools.  In the end, Glen Acres Elementary was designed and built on the same property while the existing school continued to function uninterrupted.  The site was redeveloped to accommodate a larger parking lot with drop-off lanes. The facade included brick, energy efficient windows, and insulated metal wall panels. In addition, the school now has a larger library, LGI space, gymnasium, and a full service kitchen with cafeteria. The building houses kindergarten through fourth grade in twenty-eight classrooms.
