Frankfort, IN

2018

Until 2015, Frankfort High School in Frankfort, Indiana, was operating in a building largely unchanged since it was constructed in the early 1960s. Over a period of 6 years, KJG worked with the school corporation, originally providing a Feasibility Study which studied the major building systems and energy efficiency. Our work continued through three phases of construction thanks to a successful $30M referendum in 2015. Now the school boasts state-of-the-art new mechanical systems, LED lighting, a new fire sprinkler system throughout the building, newly insulated roofs and walls, new windows, and upgraded communication systems and technology. Eight new classrooms were also added as well as enlarging fourteen other classrooms, a new secure entrance was added along with new administration and guidance office, science labs were added, and the band room was expanded. Frankfort High School now has a facility to be proud of for decades to come.
