Wanting a refresh to feel more welcoming and inviting, First United Methodist Church West Lafayette renovated the narthex at their main entrance to create a sense of community and a place for gathering. Utilizing bold colors and rounded shapes, the new design matches reinvigorated branding while creating a youthful and vibrant atmosphere for their growing congregation. New cabinetry and shelving have been added within accented curved alcoves to create new homes for their welcome desk, missions area, and coffee bar. The restrooms have also been renovated with a bright and playful aesthetic, as well as improving inclusivity and functionality. The congregation will enjoy new seating areas for informal bible studies, fellowship between services, with various opportunities for all ages to converge and feel right at home.
