Looking to renovate their facility, Covenant Church in West Lafayette worked with KJG to explore options to better integrate their main sanctuary and entry spaces. Focus was put on creating a well-defined interior entry for members and new visitors while still connecting with the sanctuary through the installation of full glass doors. The main lobby now introduces a new coffee bar with a renovated lounge while the sanctuary received theatrical scrims and textured partitions as a backdrop for the main stage. Classic elements of the church are complimented with fresh neutral tones and pops of accented colors in the furniture. In addition to the changes in the main lobby, the childcare portion also received bolder new colors along with cantilevered entry canopies to provide shelter at the check-in.
