Gateway Four in Plainfield, Indiana, boasts over 150,000 square feet of industrial warehouse space adjacent to the Indianapolis International Airport. Utilizing precast concrete wall panels and long-span steel roof joists, the building provides expansive open bays and 30 feet of interior clearance. Gateway Four is the fourth building in this Industrial Park and had to be built at a significantly higher elevation than the other three buildings given the contours of the site. That combined with building height requirements set by the airport meant that roof girders had to be kept extremely shallow in depth to still provide the desired interior clearance.
