The first phase of a new campus for Delphi United Methodist Church was completed in 2011 consisting of a 21,000 square foot main facility and a 3,000 square foot detached youth ministry building. The facility consists of a central lobby connected to a multi-purpose worship space, offices, classrooms, kitchen, and a uniquely designed and interactive Children’s wing. The facility is a great example of economical yet dramatic design. Insulated precast wall panels and long-span steel roof joists were used to construct the high-roof portions of the facility, conserving budget and allowing lower-roof portions of the exterior to be clad with brick and cast stone.
